Abstract (EN)
In this study, luminescence properties of Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) phosphors doped with Neodymium (Nd) and Cerium (Ce) synthesized via solid state method were examined through thermoluminescence (TL) analysis method. Doping processes of Nd and Ce to CaF2 were applied at various temperatures and 900°C is determined as optimal reaction temperature while various mass concentrations and optimal percentages were determined as 1% and 0.5%, respectively for Nd and Ce. Furthermore, for indicated temperatures and mass concentrations, Nd and Ce were also doped to CaF2 at the same time. The powder material obtained was pelletized and then subjected to 10 Gy of beta test dose, and radiation curves in different filters were examined. In the light of the obtained results, the suitable filter for TL studies was found to be 410 nm. When the dose response feature for CaF2: Nd 1%; Ce 0.5% is examined, the supralineer region and linear region are found to be in the range of 0.1-0.5 Gy and 5Gy-50 Gy, respectively. It was observed that 2nd. maxima used for dosimetry purposes lost 15% of its intensity after 55 days, in the repeability measurements, after 10 cycles, the total signal was decreased by 2%. In addition, trap parameters Ea, b and s are calculated using various heating rates (VHR), initial rise, computerized glow curve deconvolution (CGCD) methods.
