Divan of Nevberi

Registered in the Institute of Manuscripts of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences under the name of Mehmed Fuzuli as S-464/9417 and S-465/9418 numbered books consisting of two volumes, Divan of Nevberi, who is a 20th century poet representing Classical Turkish Literature's Azeri field, is studied in this dissertation. Following the introduction part, the study consists of two chapters. The life, works, and literary identity of Nevberi are emphasised in the introduction part; and, the analysis of the Divan is made in the first chapter. In this chapter; verse types of the poems, rhyme and repeated word types used in the poems, meters of the poems, and finally language properties of the work are analysed under the main title of "The Analysis of Divan of Nevberi." In the second chapter, after the manuscript copy is introduced and the information about the method followed in the construction of the text is provided, the text is given with transcription alphabet. Following the conclusion part of the analysis, a dictionary is created for the words found in the work and used mostly in Azerbaijani Turkish. With this doctoral dissertation, it is aimed to bring the Divan of Nevberi in the literature of Turkish Literature, and to provide a source for the research and evaluation studies to be carried out about 20th Century Classical Turkish Literature.
