Abstract (EN)
In this study, the microstructure and mechanical properties of nickel matrix B4C reinforced functional graded (FDM) composite materials obtained by using powder metallurgy method were investigated. Composite materials were produced using the powder metallurgy method. Samples with composition of Ni + 5% B4C, Ni + 10% B4C, Ni + 15% B4C and Ni + 20% B4C were produced by sintering at 900 to 1050 C temperatures and 60 min. In order to evaluate the mechanical properties and microstructure of the samples; Optical microscope, (SEM + EDX) and (XRD) analyzes as well as microhardness, abrasion and density tests were also performed. As a result of the examinations; it was determined that hardness and wear resistance values increased and density values decreased depending on the increasing B4C ratio and sintering time.
