Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in 2015 and 2016 in order to determine the grain yield and some quality traits of the varieties of chickpeas in Afyonkarahisar and Yozgat conditions. In the study, 8 cultivars of chickpea Akça, Azkan, Akçin, Gökçe, Hisar, Çakır, Işık-05 and Yaşa-05 were used. Experiments were arranged in randomized block design with three replications. According to the combined years; in Afyonkarahisar plant height, number of branches, first pod height, number of pods, number of grains, grain yield, thousand grain weight, crude protein ratio, seed coat ratio and hydration coefficient varied between 38.23 to 47.26 cm, 3.33 to 3.87, 16.5 to 25.5 cm, 17.1 to 27.1, 14.34 to 27.89, 116.4 to 211.6 kg da-1, 378.3 to 451.4 g, 21.66 to 24.91 %, 4.763 to 6.003 % and 96.78 to 131.59 %, respectively. In Yozgat plant height, number of branches, first pod height, number of pods, number of grains, grain yield, thousand grain weight, crude protein ratio, seed coat ratio and hydration coefficient varied between 41.03 to 51.23 cm, 2.82 to 3.48, 20.8 to 27.0 cm, 19.3 to 22.3, 18.56 to 23.63, 102.8 to 195.4 kg da-1, 375.5 to 445.5 g, 19.96 to 24.05 %, 4.766 to 5.98 % and 104.32 to 119.40 %, respectively. The highest grain yield was obtained from cultivar Azkan in Afyonkarahisar and Yozgat. key word:Chickpea, cultivar, yield, quality
