Abstract (EN)

The film Noksan (Lack), which is the product of this study, deals with the situation of today's people in the face of alienation and identity. The aim of the study is to convey the situation of the individual within the concepts of alienation and identity through the method of fictional film. An attempt has been made to create a range of information about alienation, identity, reasons for alienation and dimensions of alienation. The relationship between the concepts of alienation and identity and cinema is emphasized, and then some examples of the concepts of alienation and identity in both world cinema and national cinema are mentioned. In this thesis report, the concepts of alienation and identity are discussed in the context of their processing in the main product of this study, the film Noksan (Lack). In the film Noksan (Lack); the identity and alienation problems experienced by the protagonist through his daily routine, values, and interests are shown. The report mentions the synopsis, script, shooting process, human resources and financial resources, set photographs, and shooting difficulties included in the pre-production, production, and post-production sections of the film Noksan (Lack). The effects of the concepts of alienation and identity on today's people have been evaluated. A general evaluation has been made by taking into account the ability of the film Noksan (Lack) to show these concepts and the possibility that the elements of cinema making may change.
