Abstract (EN)
In this study titanium and low carbon steel were welded by using spot weldingmethod. Bodings were carried out with and without binder. Which is A 1306silver alloy folio. Bandings were carried out under Argon atmosphere. Differentweld durations were tried by holding welding current and pressures constant.Welded parts were characterized by means of tensile strength, hardness anmicrostructure. While binder increases the welding performance of titanium steel welding intitanium-titanium welding, binder does not effect the weld performance. Thehighest hardness value was measured from HAZ and second highest hardnessvalue was measured from weld core region. The base metal gave the lowesthardness value.
