Abstract (EN)

In this study, a 20-story and 80 m high building with building height class (BYS 1), earthquake design class (DTS-1), and building usage class (BKS-3) according to the Turkish Building Earthquake Code 2018 (TBDY-2018) was analyzed by nonlinear pushover analysis to the DD-2 earthquake ground motion level on the land with local soil class ZE. The data to be used in the analysis was obtained from the accelerometer recorders at the appropriate distance to the site according to TBDY-2018 and the data was scaled in SeismoSignal software and the horizontal elastic spectrum curve was also created by Deepsoil software. The superstructure was modeled separately with its foundation in the SAP2000 program as user-defined bearings (conventional) and integrated (soil-structure interaction (SSI)). Stresses to the foundation and superstructure were examined. Soil data were also determined by field tests, seismic measurements, and laboratory tests in accordance with the regulations.
