Abstract (EN)
The development of numerical methods for solving scattering problems has been dependent advancement in computer technology. Unlike analytical methods, numerical approaches, relying on matrix inversion, are often perceived as less intricate, although their effectiveness is limited by computer capacity. Both analytical and numerical methods come with drawbacks and constraints. Notably, when dealing with high-frequency sources or large electromagnetic structures, extensive discretization is necessary, posing challenges in achieving desired accuracy. Analytical methods, meanwhile, are typically applicable to a finite range of geometries. Hence, hybrid methods that amalgamate the strengths of both analytical and numerical approaches have emerged to tackle these issues. In our thesis, we utilize a hybrid method inspired by Veliev's prior research to explore an efficient alternative for solving a specific class of integral equations. This novel approach is anticipated to streamline calculations, expedite processing, and extend applicability across various materials, surpassing the capabilities of existing methods in the field. Our research focuses on resolving the two-dimensional thin strip diffraction problem using this innovative approach, which combines analytical and numerical techniques. Furthermore, we delve into a detailed examination of the current distribution on the two-dimensional thin strip under 0 and 1 fractional order limits, leveraging simulations to derive insights. The resultant near-field and far-field distributions hold promise for application in antenna design or devices aimed at directing electromagnetic waves.
