Abstract (EN)
This research focuses on prophethood, one of the basic principles of Islamic belief. In the Islamic belief system, prophethood represents the first addressee of the revelation and its face reflected in life. Messengers are human figures chosen and assigned by God of the institution of prophethood. Islamic scholars have made different com-ments and evaluations about prophethood. There are many concepts about prophet-hood in the Quran. These concepts express the responsibilities, duties and qualities of the institution of prophethood and messengers. The Quran emphasizes the human characteristics of the messengers. In this context, the Qur'an includes different hu-man characteristics of the messengers. It is important that the messengers are chosen from among people and sent to people in terms of understanding the revelation and making it come to life. With these aspects, messengers are model figures for people.
