Determination of experimental results using by factor analysis in nuclear sciences and chemistry

ABSTRACTThis study aims to illustrate and explain Factor Analysis method which is multivariatestatistical method and used to transform the structures of the multi variables which are relatedto each other to the new data structures which are independent from each other and have aless number of variable, to introduce the common factors by grouping the variables which areexplain the considered event, and it clusters the variables which has an effect on the event.For this purpose, at the first chapter of this thesis, the definition of factor analysis andthe steps followed in Factor Analysis Method has been studied. In the second chapter, thestudies in the literature related to Factor Analysis Method have been analyzed. In the thirdchapter, Factor Analysis Method has been applied to the experimental results in nuclearscience studies.
