Abstract (EN)

Recent developments in the fields of science and technology, particularly in information technology, have made significant contributions to many scientific disciplines, including nuclear physics. The use of computer-aided models to understand reaction mechanisms in nuclear physics has become increasingly common in recent years. Advancements in nuclear technology not only help meet the growing energy demand but also benefit the medical field, particularly in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. Additionally, these advancements have made substantial contributions to the planning, engineering, and manufacturing stages of many societal applications in fields such as aviation and space, construction, and industrial technology. Experimental methods can be used to understand nuclear reaction mechanisms. However, due to certain challenges in experimental methods, the mechanisms of some reactions remain difficult to understand. One such challenge is that, with current technology, it is not possible to study the cross sections and spectral emission patterns of certain reactions. Another challenge is that classical calculations used to understand several types of nuclear reactions are time-consuming. The use of computer-aided software, instead of classical calculations, can lead to solutions that save labor, time, and costs while enabling the attainment of optimal results. The integration of developments in nuclear technology with information technology will contribute to a better understanding of nuclear reaction mechanisms and atomic physics, the expansion of nuclear data repositories, and the easier accessibility of these data through increasing technological advancements. In this thesis, the cross sections, particle emission spectra, and angle-dependent double-differential cross sections of the nuclear reactions of the platin group elements 103Rh and 106Pd isotopes have been calculated using the TALYS 1.95 nuclear calculation program, which is widely used in literature with various level density models. The results obtained were compared with experimental data from the International Experimental Nuclear Reaction Data Library (EXFOR). Keywords: Reaction cross section, differential cross section, emission spectrum, level density models, TALYS 1.95, EXFOR, Palladium, Rhodium.
