Determining the socialization tactics of teachercandidates in accordance with different variables

In this study, the determination of the socialization tactics of teacher candidates in terms of different variables was examined. The research was carried out with 1026 teacher candidates studying at the education faculty of a university in the Eastern Anatolia Region. These teacher candidates are Science teacher (38), Elementary Mathematics teacher (117), Classroom teacher (116), Preschool teacher (128), Turkish teacher (109), Social Studies teacher (140), Music teacher (75), Psychological It consists of Counseling and Guidance teacher (114), Art teacher (69) and Physical Education teacher (120) groups. The research is in the nature of descriptive research and scanning model was used. In the research; "Socialization Tactics Scale (SBL)", which was adapted into Turkish by Özkan (2011), was used as a data collection tool. CSO consists of five sub-dimensions as educational, instrumental, social, intellectual and political tactics and includes a total of 24 items. As a result of Özkan's analysis to determine the reliability of the scale, Cronbach's Alpha coefficient for the educational tactics factor was .76; .62 for instrumental tactics factor; .67 for the social tactics factor; .72 for the intellectual tactics factor and .76 for the political tactics factor. Independent sample t-test and one-way analysis of variance were used in the analysis of the data obtained from the scale. As a result of the research, it was determined that gender, department, age levels and the duration of social media use had an effect on the different variable scores of the socialization tactics of the teacher candidates.
