Abstract (EN)

Teachers' information literacy, digital competence and lifelong learning skills are of great professional importance and can positively affect their professional satisfaction. In this context, the aim of the research is to examine the relationship between teachers' information literacy, digital competence, lifelong learning tendencies and professional satisfaction. 473 teachers working at different levels in Isparta province participated in the research. Personal Information Form, Information Literacy Scale, Digital Competence Scale, Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale and Professional Satisfaction Scale were applied to the participants and the obtained data were analyzed in SPSS and AMOS programs. The relationship between information literacy, digital competence, lifelong learning and professional satisfaction was tested through structural equation modeling (SEM). According to the findings, lifelong learning accounts for 33% of the total variance; Professional satisfaction explains 9%. Information literacy, digital competence, lifelong learning and professional satisfaction consist of many elements that complement each other. A teacher who has the skills to find, use and evaluate information has information literacy and digital competence by using digital tools. These two competencies support teachers' continuous learning and self-improvement processes. Lifelong learning also increases the professional motivation of teachers who learn and develop. A teacher who is professionally satisfied is more successful and happier in his job. Professional satisfaction, which is also related to motivation, positively affects teachers' personal development as well as their professional success. In this context, teachers' information literacy and digital competence directly affect lifelong learning and professional satisfaction in lifelong learning. It is seen that digital competence indirectly affects professional satisfaction through lifelong learning. As a result, it is understood that teachers' information literacy and digital competence positively affect their lifelong learning, and these variables directly or indirectly affect teachers' professional satisfaction positively.
