Abstract (EN)

Changes in the field of science and technology have become an integral part of life. This situation also affects the education world and teachers. The rapid development of technology in today's world necessitates that teachers also have digital self-sufficiency. On this occasion, the aim of this study, which includes teachers working in Mardin province and its districts, is to examine the digital self-efficacy of teachers working in kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and high schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education in Mardin province and districts in the 2023-2024 academic year. The relational screening method one of the quantitative research methods was used in this study. The digital self-efficacy scale of teachers, consisting of 6 sub-dimensions and 22 items, prepared taking into account the digital competencies for educators (DigCompEdu) framework and translated into Turkish, was applied to the teachers. The data obtained from 649 teachers who participated in the study through the scale were analyzed using the SPSS program using t-test and one-way ANOVA test. As a result of these analyses, it was seen that the teachers were at the integrative (B1) or intermediate level according to the digital self-efficacy scale for educators. According to this level, teachers have digital self- efficacy above the basic level and should put more effort to improve their digital self-efficacy. In addition to teachers' digital self-efficacy levels were examined in terms of various variables, teachers' digital self-efficacy levels were determined by their educational status, taking in-service courses, FATİH Project, taking the Formator teacher course, having interactive whiteboards and internet infrastructure in the classrooms, type of school, field of study, and the number of teachers they work in. It was found out that there was variation according to district and seniority year. Based on these findings, conclusions and discussions were made, and various suggestions were presented to educators and future studies based on the data obtained.
