Investigation on the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological capital levels of teachers

In organizational structure of insitutions, there are lots of factors affecting employees both between each other and in their relationship with management degree. In recent studies, we frequently encounter with human factor and emotion concept. In organization, people who are social, able to solve problems, durable to obstacles and optimistic have a high job satisfaction and depending on this, it is said that it leaves a positive impression on productivity and activity of organization. In this regard, the relationship between psychological fund levels and emotional intelligence levels was analyzed. A quantitative survey which is fit for study purpose was planned and collected necessary data via questionnaire. In this study, 220 teachers working in different schools in Adana were reached. While being analyzed the relationship between psychological fund levels and emotional intelligence levels of teachers, these levels' effect on age, sex, marital status, work experience was discussed too. Regression, T and anova tests were referred for search hypothesis test. When findings were analyzed, a positive and meaningful relationship was detected between teachers' emotional intelligence levels and psychological fund levels. Morever, for both levels, meaningful relationships with other factors except age factor were found out.
