Factors which affect the usage conditions of the materials which teachers use

ABSTRACTMASTER THESISTHE FACTORS WHICH AFFECT THE USAGE CONDITIONS OF THEMATERIALS WHICH TEACHERS USEEtem YEŞİLYURTUNIVERSITY OF FIRATINSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCESDEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL SCIENCES2006 - Pages: XI + 207This investigation was made by means of teacher's opinion in order to provethe usage conditions of instruction's materials which are used by the teachers working assecond grade at primary school.The investigation was made in the city centre of Elazığ by the practicing theway of a Questionaire which was answered by the teachers working at schools and thegetting data was analyzed by SPSS for windows package programme.As it is looked at getting information, the usage of the instruction's materialswould diminish the importance of the teachers and the decreasing excitement of thestudents against the lessons is the most important factors as it was found. Moreover theclasses being too crowded, no permission of using instruction's materials by themanagers of schools and also the failure of province education services for carrying outtheir duties which are proved as factors affecting the usage of instruction's materialsnegatively to make the lessons enjoyable and the instruction's materials beingappropriate for the features of update technology were found out as factors whichinfluence the instruction's materials affirmatively. However it was seen that most ofteachers have used a computer, tv radio and cassette player but not other electronicinstrument especially ITIM. As for providing the way of instruction's materials it wasproved that the teachers have chosen them from IM or administration of schools bythemself.Key words: Education, instruction, education technology, instructiontechnology and instruction's material.
