Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the perceptions of organizational anomie and organizational vulnerability among teachers working in public schools in the Patnos district of Ağrı province, as well as to examine the relationship between these perceptions. The research is based on a relational survey model. The sample of the study consists of teachers working in public schools in the Patnos district of Ağrı province. The sample, selected through cluster sampling to represent this population, includes 238 teachers who participated voluntarily. A Personal Information Form was used to collect demographic data, data were collected using the Organizational vulnerability Scale developed by Karabulut to measure perceptions of organizational vulnerability, and the Organizational Anomie Scale developed by Yarım, Akan, and Morkoç to measure perceptions of organizational anomie. Whether the quantitative data followed a normal distribution was determined using skewness and kurtosis coefficients. To determine participants' perceptions of organizational anomie and organizational vulnerability, arithmetic means and standard deviations were calculated. Whether teachers' perceptions of organizational anomie and vulnerability differed according to gender was examined using an independent samples t-test for the sub-dimensions of the scales. Differences based on professional seniority and school level were analyzed using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). In order to determine the relationship between participants' perceptions of organizational vulnerability and organizational anomie, Pearson correlation analysis was conducted, and whether organizational vulnerability perceptions could be predicted by organizational anomie perceptions was tested through multiple regression analysis. Based on the analysis of the data, teachers' perceptions of organizational anomie and vulnerability were examined; organizational anomie perceptions were generally found to be at a low to moderate level, while organizational vulnerability perceptions were low in the 'inadequacy' sub-dimension and high in the 'intolerance' sub-dimension. While organizational anomie perceptions did not significantly differ by gender, female teachers reported higher levels of organizational vulnerability in certain sub-dimensions compared to male teachers. The study also revealed that participants' perceptions of organizational vulnerability differed based on professional seniority, but did not vary according to the school level at which they were employed. Furthermore, a positive correlation was found between organizational anomie and organizational vulnerability. Specifically, the "normlessness" and "distrust" sub-dimensions of organizational anomie were significant predictors of organizational vulnerability.
