Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to present the effects of teachers' trust on their directors, in their own job satisfaction. In addition to the relationship of these two, it is also examined if the socio-demographic conditions of the teachers cause a difference at the levels of trust and job satisfaction.The ensemble of the study, on which descriptive research model is utilized, consists of male and female teachers working under the Ministry of Education in Yalova. Research data is collected by questionnaire, and the ?Institution-Based Trust Scale? and the ?Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale? are applied to it. The data is interpreted by SPSS program, using factor analysis, frequency analysis, average, Anova and T tests. The research is done in two stages called the pilot and the principle stages. The pilot stage is carried out on 45 teachers, while 357 teachers joined the principle stage.As the results of the research are examined, it is shown that there is a strong positive relationship between the teachers' trust on the directors and their job satisfaction. And also socio-demographic conditions are determined to cause a difference in trust or job satisfaction. In the light of the results obtained, some proposals for reinforcing the relationship between trust and satisfaction, taking account of the socio-demographic conditions are made.Keywords: Teacher, director, trust, job satisfaction
