Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, using the mathematical model of Boolean gene regulatory networks, the regulatory dynamics of the genes of the centromere regions, which are actively involved in the cell cycle of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae model organism, have been examined. A gene regulatory network containing the relevant genes of the model organism from the biological databases was established and all possible cellular phenotypes were subjected to gene regulation and attracted to the system. The gene expressions in attractors were compared with the biological data by obtaining changes in the cell cycle. Behavioral comparisons of the whole system with other real networks in the literature have also been made. However, a mutated gene silencing was modeled in Boolean type gene regulatory networks and applied to our network along side with the networks in the literature. Mutational robustness was interpreted in the direction of the obtained results.
