The conflict management styles of directors and its impact on teachers stress level

THE CONFLICT MANAGEMENT STYLES OF DIRECTORS AND ITS IMPACT ON TEACHERS STRESS LEVEL ABSTRACT In that research conffiction styles of managers in menaging and the conscious in methods of teachers about its impact on the methods of teachers and their stress in education system are mainly discussed. There are 6 chapters in that research. The datas were gathered from the 26 schools, located in Istanbul, European Side and Cluster Sampling Model was applied Totally 261 teachers were involved to the research. In that work the form for identify the individual features of teachers was used. With that form some information such as the sex, age, family statue, high school type where the teachers work, total working years in teaching are gathered. In order to learn the present situation 'the questionnaire for identify the conscious about the director's present style of conflict management' was applied. The questionnaires were handed out by the searcher,and and afterwards they were got back by making explanations where necessary. At the end of the search, It was identified that in case of a conflict according to the teachers the directors use mostly completion method and least concession style also the teachers get in stress mostly when the directors use ruling style and less in occasion of concession. Also it was concluded that the female teachers get in stress in case of a conflict with the director and in Vocational High Schools and to the teachers who are under the age 25 the directors use ruling method most The key words are High Schools, Conflict Management and stress XVII
