Differences of school administrators with management skills between organizational cynicism levels of teachers

The aim of this research is to reveal the relationship between teachers' opinions about school administrators' ability to manage differences and teachers' organizational cynicism levels. The research is in relational screening model. The sample of the study consists of a total of 557, 168 primary schools, 177 secondary schools and 212 high schools working in the city of Uşak in the 2018-2019 academic year. Easily accessible sampling method was used in the research. In the study, the data were collected with "The Scale of School Administrators' Competencies in Managing the Differences Between Teachers" and "The Organizational Cynicism Scale for Teachers". Confirmatory factor analysis, arithmetic mean, one-way analysis of variance, t-Test, Pearson Moments Product Coefficient and Multiple Regression Analysis were used in the analysis of the data. According to the results of the research, teachers find high the school management skills of school administrators'. Teachers 'perceptions of school administrators' ability to manage differences; While there was no significant difference in terms of gender, graduation status, professional seniority and working time in the same school, a significant difference was found according to the level of school served and the number of teachers working in the school. In the organizational cynicism levels of the teachers, which are the other variable of the research, there is no significant difference between the graduation status of the teachers and the number of teachers working in the school; There is a significant difference between them, depending on the gender of the teachers, their professional seniority, the duration of work in the same school, the level of the school served. When the results of the correlation analysis are analyzed, a significant negative and moderate relationship was found between the differences between the administrator of the school administrators' and the levels of the dimensions of the organizational cynicism of the teachers, the factors that decrease the performance, the negative attitudes and participation in the decisions. On the other hand, a low level of negative relationship was found in the negative attitude of teachers 'organizational cynicism towards the school and employees' participation in the application. Finally, in the research, it was concluded that school administrators' differences management skills significantly predicted the levels of organizational cynicism of teachers in primary and secondary schools, but not in high schools.
