Examining the conception of the Prophet in the pre-school story books

In the pre-school period, which is considered the most important stage of personality building, the child develops religious imaginations. The soundness of the imaginations formed in this period affects the religious life of the person. However, since the metaphysical concepts with religious content cannot be perceived by the preschool child, it causes the imagination to be formed incompletely. The tangible example of a person's relationship with his creator, Hz. The Prophet is also important in this respect. Hz. Using the story method in the information presented to the child about the Prophet increases the permanence of the imagination. This situation reveals the importance of the quality of story books. Hz. Prophet our study, which is about telling the exemplary personality of the to pre-school children with the story method, has examined the form, content, language, style, illustration and creation of imagination of the story books written for this period. In our study, which is a qualitative research, resource scanning, content and document analysis methods were used. In the books we have reviewed, we can ascertain that the emphasis is on the moral characteristics of the Hz. Prophet as a hit. However, we cannot say that the same hit is in terms of form, content, illustration, language, style, bibliography and age groups in the books in question.
