Abstract (EN)
Supervision is one of the most important issues related to education. Effective supervision of education, which determines the future of society, is very important and modern methodsshould be used in supervision. Artistic control is one of the contemporary methods. The aim of this study is to reveal the opinions of teachers about the application of artistic control by school administrators. 101 teachers working in Ümraniye district of Istanbul participated in there search conducted in the 2021-2022 academic year. According to the results, teachers' views on the applicability of artistic control do not differ according to their professional seniority, educational status, and the gender of the school administrator. However, the leadership style of school administrators significantly affects the views of teachers. Accordingly, teachers who accept school administrators as democratic leaders think more positively about the applicability of artistic control than autocratic and indifferent school administrators. The leadership style of school administrators significantly affects the views of teachers. Accordingly, in the presence of school administrators adopting a democratic leadership style, higher scores were obtained than autocratic and disinterested school administrators.
