Abstract (EN)

The most commonly used type on the conventional yarn blendings is two fiber typed mixtures. The current trend in academic research studies have continued in this direction. Three typed mixtures dealt at this study have a relatively low level of production. This is because the difficulty of working process and unpredictable properties of the end products. We focused to gaining important findings about required mixture type and ratio according to the wanted features of end products.In this study, the effect of adding a third type of fiber to binary mixtures, sandwich-type mixing method or mixing on draw frame and, the number of passages at mixing on draw frame compounds (1 or 2 passaged separate productions) were investigated in different mixture ratios. As a result, we determined that the interaction of yarn number and each fiber mixture ratio in the composition of yarn has direct effect on the yarn properties. When the fiber type increase in the yarn, the mixture method?s effect increases on the yarn properties. At last, we obtained prediction models for choosen yarn properties (unevenness, hairiness, strength-elongation) with regression analysis. With these models the properties of yarns which have any mixture ratio of three fiber types (PES, CV, PAN) used on this study can be predictable.
