Abstract (EN)
In today's world, in line with the increasing human needs, the need for advanced raw materials and energy has emerged. With the developing technology and production diversity and increasing population, consumption rate has increased gradually. This has led to an increase in waste generation at the same level. Although various waste recovery policies and studies are carried out in the world and in our country, the recovery of organic wastes having the largest percentage of these wastes has been very limited. In this thesis, studies on recovery of organic wastes and researching new usage areas have been carried out. In order to carry out these studies, firstly, reference samples were selected from a wide range of organic wastes. The thermal, mechanical and electromagnetic properties of the selected reference samples were evaluated and used as raw materials. As a reference, apple, orange and pomegranate wastes in the Mediterranean region were selected. Within the scope of the study, these waste derivatives were first separated from their waters and shells, cores, pulp and so on. The structures are separated from each other. In the ongoing process, the wastes were dried in a drying oven and prevented from rot. Test samples were prepared from the wastes dried by two specially designed molds for the required experiments. Finally, the heat conduction coefficients, ductile or brittle temperature ranges and their usability in terms of providing electromagnetic isolation were investigated. As a result, it is predicted that these wastes, which have no material equivalent, can be a shielding raw material at the point of providing electromagnetic insulation. It has also been found that it can perform the function of not distorting the signals as a raw material of radome material. In addition, it is thought that the recovery and recovery of these wastes whose thermal conductivity coefficients are not very high, even if they do not have a very high strength value, will cover a large raw material deficit. In terms of thermal conductivity, coefficient of apple pulp was 1.033411505 (W / mK), pomegranate seed thermal conductivity coefficient; 0.379165039 (W / mK), thermal conductivity coefficient of pomegranate peel; 0.70282111 (W / mK) and thermal conductivity coefficient of orange pulp; 0.248086285 (W / mK). These results are close to the results observed in wood-based structures in the literature, and the thermal conductivity of the orange pulp sample was marginal compared to the others. In the scope of the experiments, a drying oven, a 50-ton capacity press bench, two specially designed molds, two-port Agilent N5234A PNA-L Microwave Network Analyzer, OTG 310 Linear Heat Transfer Test Set and Testform Notch Impact Device were used.
