Abstract (EN)

Biogas and bioenergy which obtained from industrial wastes, animal manure, and agricultural wastes are becoming widespread in both developed and developing countries. In this study, general information about biogas has been given. Base on this information, design and financial calculations have been made for a biogas plant that is going to be feed by a farm which has 1000 cattle capacity. The amount of animal waste has been estimated at 8.030 tons per year. The amount of water to be added to the manure combination, the volume, and dimensions of the pre-equilibrium pool, reactor, manure storage pool has been calculated considering the estimation. Detention period has been selected by considering economic analyzes and previous studies. Information has been given about flow chart of the biogas plant. Cost analyzes have been made by considering all income and expense items of the biogas plant which has 125 kW electricity production capacity. As a result of these analyzes, biogas plant's redemption period has been calculated as 4 years. Biogas plant's annual income after the redemption period has been calculated as 105.753,00 €. Running time predicted as at least 20 years.
