Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted in Research Field and Laboratories of Cukurova University Faculty of Agriculture Department of Horticulture in order to develop techniques for organic strawberry seedling production between 2009 and 2012. In this study, runner and daughter plant formation from mother plants were provided in two different strawberry cultivars (Sweet Charlie and Camino Real) by using different bacteria types (T7, R23, T8 and T18). As a result of the study, it was determined that cultivars and bacteria types did not effect number of runners. The number of daughter plant formation from a mother plant did not differed in terms of cultivars whereas it was increased by T8 and T18 bacteria applications. A plug plant study was established in this study, the effectiveness of 4 different media (Control, Conventional, HK2 and Organic) with 3 different bacteria (A1, A16, A18 and Control) treatments were investigated by using the obtained daughter plants. According to the research outputs, it was determined that the Control media and A1 bacteria treatment gave the best results. In open field conditions, a yield study was conducted with the plug plants of Camino Real cultivar. The total yield per plant was obtained from HK2 (145.49 g), Control (125.17 g), Conventional (109.39) and Organic (104.09 g) media respectively. Also a yield study was conducted in the field conditray under high tunnels with plug plants of Camino Real and Camarosa cultivars between 2010 and 2011. The total yield per plant was determined as 821.19 g for Camarosa cultivar and 474.31 g for Camino Real cultivar.
