Abstract (EN)

In recent years, with the emerging diseases and the deterioration of the ecological balance, consumers have begun to prefer products that do not harm human health and are produced with environmentally friendly production models. However, as a result of the fact that people want to get animal protein and the idea of causing minimal damage to the environment, the organic poultry feed and breeding sector has begun to attract attention. The study of consumer attitudes and behaviors in the consumption of organic chicken meat and eggs is of great importance for the future of the organic poultry sector. Therefore, the scope of the research studies on the consumption habits of organic chicken meat and eggs are examined in Turkey, Bursa is taken as an example, consumers ' attitudes and behaviors as a result of surveys face to face with the person 392 percent values and chi-square analysis was evaluated using. According to the results obtained, 65.3% of the consumers participating in the research survey are women and 34.7% are men. The majority of the participants were december the age range of 30 to 49 years (64.60%), and the education level was mainly university graduates (34.4%). About two-thirds of consumers stated that they were aware of organic products. 31.60% of consumers said that they consume organic eggs and chicken meat to maintain the health of themselves and their families. It was also found that 66.32% of consumers were willing to pay 10% more for organic eggs and chicken meat. As a result, it is important to ensure the supply of quality, accessible and safe products for the increase of organic egg and chicken meat consumption habits of consumers living in Bursa province.
