Abstract (EN)

Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ) are goods and service production areas in which social plants are located together with healthy, cheap and reliable infrastructures, outside the city and agricultural areas. In Turkey, OIZ's have implemented in Bursa in 1962 for the first time and have been adopted as a means for the sollution of problems caused by instable regional development, irregular urbanization. OIZ' s in which agricultural raw material and underground resources are utilized, are also centers relationships between industries are developed in. Execution of the establishment, supervision and crediting of OIZ's along with providing their coordination with various establishments, by Ministry of Industry and Commerce, has resulted in positive devolopments countrywide. Medium and large scale industry establishments have been put in place in special areas outside the city which are seperated from residental areas with green zones and thus, industrial establishments which influence the environmental quality in a negative manner by means of emitting pollution, gas, smells and smoke, have been taken under control also connected with geological surveys.
