Abstract (EN)

This study aims to examine the relationship between work-life balance and employee alienation levels in organizations. The research specifically examines the connection between the balance employees maintain between their work and private lives and their degree of alienation from work. The study focuses on the experiences of employees working in different sectors in the city center of Afyonkarahisar, in Türkiye. Research data was collected using the survey method, and the findings were evaluated using statistical analyses. The study analyzed the relationship between work-life balance and work alienation, and whether this relationship differed according to participants' demographic characteristics. The research hypotheses predicted a negative correlation between work-life balance and work alienation, and that this relationship could vary depending on demographic factors. The findings obtained revealed a significant and inverse relationship between work-life balance and work alienation. These results emphasize the importance of work-life balance policies to increase the motivation and commitment of employees in organizations.
