Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationship between the diversity management practices of the organizations with the career adaptability of the employees was analyzed. The relationship between the perceptions of the white-collar employees of the companies which operate in Duzce Organized Industrial Zone regarding the management of diversity and their ability of career adaptation were investigated. According to the findings of the study, it was observed that there is a positive relationship between the feeling of existence of diversity management practices in the organization and the career adaptation by the employees in the sample. The perception of diversity management consists of three dimensions: individual, organizational and managerial. Career adaptability consists of four dimensions: control, concern, confidence and curiosity. In general, it was concluded that the responses given to each dimension are in the direction of participation and when the diversity management perception and career adaptability are compared, the average of participation is higher in career adaptability than the perception of diversity management. Finally, according to the findings of the study, it was observed that the career adaptability of the sample and the difference in perception are in good level and differentiate according to demographic characteristics.
