Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between perceived effectiveness of organizational communication and conflict management style between subordinates and superiors. At this study, there is also a secondary purpose which is to test the relationship between demografic variables and conflict management style. 386 participants who work at Alanya Municipality compose the sample of this study. As a data collection tool, demografic information form, organizational communication scale and organizational conflict scale (II) that was developed by Rahim (1983) are used. The data collected was subjected to correlation analysis, t-test, ANOVA analysis and regression analysis via SPSS statistical package programme. At the end of the analysis, it was observed that the results highly support the hypothesis of the study. According to the results, some of the variables of organizational communication and conflict management style indicated meaningful difference with reference to demografic variability of the participants. Besides, meaningful relationships were found for every sub-dimensions combination between the organizational communication and the conflict management style. Finally, the result of the hypothesis which is based on the main purpose of the study, the perceived organizational communication meaningfully influence the conflict management style of the participants.
