Abstract (EN)
People often identify themselves in terms of particular group membership. Social identities based on seeing themselves as part of a country, gender, team and organization are common in current life. However, the survival of these groups depends on their members. Attitudes and behaviors of employees are very important for organizations. Within the framework of positive psychology called positive approach and thinking through positive looking, "organizational identification' kimlik is the self-identification within the organization by adopting the values, targets and assets of the organization to which it is a member, as their own values, goals and assets. This thesis aims to comprehend the importance of organizational identification and to examine its effect on corporate reputation. The empirical study was carried out in three stages. In the first stage, the development, importance and dimensions of the concept of organizational identification, its place in the literature, socio-economic or demographic characteristics and measurement methods which have an impact on organizational identification are given in the literature. The second stage, the factors that affect the concept of corporate reputation, the basic components of corporate reputation, measurement methods are explained in detail. In the third stage, an application was made to determine the institutional reputation and organizational identification and empirically test the relationship between them. In the analysis of the Effect of Organizational Identification on Institutional Reputation, the questionnaire which is the primary data collection method was used and the researches included qualitative and quantitative data collected. Factor analysis was used to investigate the construct validity of the items in the questionnaire. Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between the dimensions obtained as a result of factor analysis. In line with the preliminary information obtained from the correlation analysis, linear regression analysis was used for the testing of hypotheses. Independent sample t test and ANOVA test were used to determine whether the factors determined as a result of factor analysis differed according to demographic characteristics of the participants such as age, gender, education as well as their status and working time in the institution and SPSS 18 package program was used in the analyzes conducted in the study. Findings show that organizational identification has an impact on corporate reputation. The findings provide a new perspective to the organizational identification literature and support the existing literature. Organizational identification is also provided for managers as part of corporate reputation management.
