Since an organization's most valuable capital is human force, it is vital for the organization to investigate the hurdles to the satisfaction that its employees would obtain from what they strive for. Organization should also produce solutions to possible negative outcomes of organizational stressors. When an organization meets its employees' needs and satisfies them, it can execute the management sciences' principles. By this way, both individual and organizational goals could well be achieved. This study has been conducted to identify if there is a relationship between organizational stressors and employees' job satisfaction, and to define the direction and the level of this relationship. The data of this research has been obtained by survey method. Questionnaires were completed by 145 technical, managerial and contractual personnel working in different units at Merzifon district governorship. Personal information forms have been used for obtaining demographic information, organizational stress scales used for measuring organizational stress factors, and short form of Minnesota job satisfaction scale used for measuring job satisfaction levels. Data has been collected by means of the questionnaires based on these scales. Research data has been analysed with SPSS 18.0 (Statistical Package for Social vii Sciences for Windows 18. 0). In analysing the collected data, first the descriptive analysis, frequency of responds, percentage of values, standart deviation and mean values were calculated. Distribution of demographic variables relating to district governorship personnel has been specified. Regression analysis has been conducted to decide if the scores that personnel got from the sub-tests of organizational stress scale and job satisfaction scale vary depending on demographic variables. Also, in order to determine direction and effect of the correlation of the variables, bivariate Pearson correlation coefficients have been analyzed. Consequently, at the end of this research, it has been found out that demographic features do not significantly predict both the organizational stress and the job satisfaction of the employees. On the other hand, organizational stress factors significantly and negatively predict job satisfaction levels of the employees which means as the organizational stress level increases, job satisfaction level decreases.
