Abstract (EN)
Biographical reading method that accept there is a connection between author and author's works uses author's biography as a resource to describe literary works. Orhan Kemal is one of appropriate authors to biographical reading in Turkish literature. The author who emphasize there is a connection between life and literature works writes his works using his biography and observing entourage. Story of narrator of author's autobiographic novels is identical to the author's biography. It is known that his biography is reflected to his autobiographic novels, which are first literature works. There are also traces his other novels and stories from his biography. Author's childhood and youth memories, his career, his love life, his prison life are reflected to his novels and stories. In this study, author's literature works, which are related to his biography, has been analyzed using biographic reading method, academic books and tried to determined his biography and connection between facts and fiction.
