Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the effects of laundering to the fabrics that obtained from 8 different cotton blends plain jersey fabrics that were produced of Ne 30/1 ring yarns were studied. The fabric samples contain %100 cotton, cotton-viscose (%50-50), cotton-polyester (%50-50), cotton-viscose-polyester (%50-25-25), cotton-nylon (%65-35), cotton-acrylic (%50-50), cotton-linen (%75-25) and cotton-modal (%50-50).In study, the cotton fabrics were washed at 60ºC in 90 minutes with 3 different laundry repeated times that are 1, 10 and 20 times, using 4 different detergents that have different chemical contents from each other. The laundry conditions were determined according to the most appropriate for dyed cotton samples. The matic detergents have been selected that are widely used on the market and a special laboratory built chemical analysis of these detergents. After the repeated laundries, we tried to determine the effects of detergents, laundry repeated time and fabric contents to dimensional and structural changes, abrasion resistance, color changes of cotton fabrics. The data that obtained from results of the experimental studies by using SPSS 15.0 statistical package program was evaluated.
