Abstract (EN)

Memristor has become a popular nonlinear circuit element in the last decade. Knowm memristors are already in the market. Tungsten-based Knowm memristors have been modeled with the mean metastable switch memristor model in the literature. However, the validity of this model at above-threshold voltages has not been studied in the literature, yet. The aim of this study is to investigate whether the mean metastable switch memristor model is valid at above-threshold voltages or not. In this study, the experimental current and voltage waveforms of a Tungsten-based Knowm memristor fed by various current and voltage sources are first acquired. Then, the data obtained are examined to see if the mean metastable switch memristor model of the Tungsten-based Knowm memristor is valid at above-threshold voltages. It has been shown that this model fails to produce all the measured dynamics. In this study, an alternative memristor model is also proposed and evaluated using experimental results, but it has been found that the proposed model could not solve these problems either. Reasons have been given for what properties the models lack. As a result, a better Tungsten-based Knowm memristor model is needed.
