Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to investigate the agressive states of highschool students that are playing sports and that are not playing sports, according to age, gender of the students types of sports being played. Totally 28 schools and 1868 students from provincal districts of Samsun attended to the research. Personal information form developed by the researcher and aggressiveness Inventory developed by İpek İlter(Kiper) were used as data collection tools. Regarding the distribution of data, primarily normality test (Kolmogorov-Smirnow D test) was applied. Distribution of the students and their percentages were determined through descriptive statistics. In comparing aggressiveness states according to the type of sports one, Independent sample T test was applied at α=0.05 significance level. In comparing aggresiveness states according to state of playing sports (playing sports or not playing sports) and according to age(5 groups), state of playing sports (playing sports or not playing sports) and according to gender, Two way Anova Test was applied at α=0.05 significance level. Tukey HSD, a second-level test, was used for differences between groups which were found to be significant. Microsoft Excel 2010 was used to input data into computer and to draw graph; SPSS 20.0 was used to analyse data. As a result of analyses according to variables such as state of playing sports, age and gender, significant differences were detected betwen aggressiveness points of students, but significant differences weren't detected in points according to state of playing sports and age, state of playing sports and gender, type of sports done. As a result, those who play sports are more aggressive and brasher than those who don't play sports, boys are more aggressive than girls, girls are brasher than boys, it can be said that there is no significant difference in aggressiveness points in state of playing sports and age, state of playing sports and gender, state of playing sports.
