Abstract (EN)

This study was designed according to design-based research model in order to improve the mathematical literacy Achievement levels and mathematical literacy awareness of secondary school students. It is for 43th grade students in Dörtyol district of Hatay province in 2018-2019 education. In the research, mathematics achievement test, mathematics literacy self-efficacy scale (MOÖYÖ), semi-structured interview form were used. Descriptive arrangement (n, x, ss), ANOVA, independent groups t test were applied in the analysis of the data. In the analysis of your qualification. According to the quantitative results of the research, they scored low in the preliminary achievement test, but their success, last achievement and permanence scores increased; It concluded that mathematics literacy (MO) scores also increased positively. According to the qualitative findings of the research, it is for the problems they set up; It was concluded that they created more problems in personal, quantitative, productive, original, numerical and verbal categories, related to the establishment of the problem and according to the answer, in the mathematical sentence writing and reasoning category. The received conditions used together; They realized that the problems in the PISA feature you chose are what they have and the options of this type of problems are possible, and also this decision has been revealed successfully.
