Abstract (EN)
It is needed to study the metamorphosis of modern Turkısh women to expose their identities.It?s observed that the statute of Turkish women had been changed in time. İn Preislamic Period, Turkish women who were extravert and free, had an equal statute of men. After adopting to İslamic culture, they had been neutralized. The women who were separated men?s world, had to constitute adifferent way of life according to islamic and traditional rules.In Reform Period, it had been discussed the social statute of women because of the influence of European culture.It had been made arrangements in education, heritage and family law, and also it had been dealt with the subject of women in literature.These improvements that began with Reform Period, had been accelerated in II.Contitutional Monarchy Period. Women were benefited from media power to explain tehmeselves. In these publications, the Ottoman women took modern Europen women as their model to claim their rights in family, education politics, social life and economics. It had been emphasized that the strong family basis constituted the strong basis of society; so that women wanted to be made many arrangements about choice of husbands, polygamy, marriage regime, divorcement, etc. Educatişon ann patriotic had gained importance fort he social development in conditions of time. Especially, women were informed about modern education system because it was aimed to widespread of women?s education. It was emphasized that for economical independence, independent politics must be followed. In economics, women could behave consciously both as a producer and a consumer. In social area, women were interested in fashion, musics, theatre, medical and social aid projects. The declaration of Constitutional Monarchy was accepted gladly by women who believed that this new system of administration would change the destiny of nation. Also women believed that in future they would take an important role in politics.By the influence of II. Constitutional Monarcy that was constituted on the consepts of ? justice?, ?equality? and ?freedom?, women began to Express their demands in their journals. These demands formed the basis of Women Revolution in Rebuplic Period. This study will be effective in understanding of metamorphosis of Turkish women.
