Abstract (EN)

Due to the dynamic structure of tourism, change in hotel enterprises occurs in an intense way. Employee Training in hotel enterprises are compulsory activities for the speedy and effective adaptability of employees to this intense change. Hotel enterprises train their newly hired personnel in order to adopt them to their new duties, working environment and the changes as well with the already existing employees. Employee Trainings in hotel enterprises function towards more cohesion and they bring together higher quality and better service standards for the employees. Employee Trainings and the curricula has to be determined upon analyzing the education needs. Following the training, the outcomes and efficiency shall be evaluated both in short and long term intervals, the missing dimensions shall be determined and employee training must bring the highest level of contribution to the employees and the hotel as well. This thesis aims at reflecting the perspectives of hotel employees towards training and measuring its effects on general job satisfaction. The field research comprises of the employees of 6 five stars hotels in Izmir city center and Cesme. Survey method has been implemented in the field research and 1000 surveys had been distributed and 235 of them received which had been analyzed by computer supported methods.
