Abstract (EN)

Human resource satisfaction is one of the most important requirements for developing service quality at the hotels. For this reason, to provide rights for employees such as health, safety, and the other rights have also strategic importance. To improve working conditions and employee quality is required in modern approach. SA 8000 Social Accountability Standard, is a available sample of modern approach in employee management. This standard is occurred to improve the bad working conditions in non-developed and developing countries. This standard includes not to use of child labour, not to use of forced labour, health and safety, freedom of association and right to collective bargaining , not to be in discrimination, the availability of disciplinary practices to the human rights, arrangements of the working hours, the appropriate remunerations for average living standards and setting up a better management system for working conditions. The study covers the differences between the available practices in hotel managements and ideal model in Turkey related to SA 8000 Social Accountability Standard.
