Abstract (EN)

Automotive production begins with the shaping of coiled sheet coils in automotive production facilities. Rolled sheet coils are cut by shearing presses in appropriate sizes and after passing through the press lines that will perform the deep drawing process, they are shaped as the rear hood, front hood, door lining/outer surface, case side. The story of the emergence of the vehicle body begins by combining these shaped sheet metal presses with manual and robotic applications on the welding lines. The automobile body, which takes its final form, is sent to the assembly line by entering the firing and paint booths after various chemical coatings. Finally, cladding, tires, glass, mirrors and many equipment are mounted on the painted chassis on the assembly lines, and the car is made ready to move on the wheel. In this production process, the initial "sheet metal forming" process. Failures that may occur in the press lines due to tape flow, spare parts for previous models, and high repair costs in an automobile factory have a serious negative impact on factory productivity. In summary, in this thesis, predictive maintenance activities carried out within the scope of Industry 4.0 will be mentioned in order to prevent mechanical failures that may occur in sheet metal forming presses. By using today's developing technologies and appropriate sensors, "current, temperature, vibration" parameters, trend tracking and analysis and the stages of fault detection will be examined.
