Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, analysis methods about design & optimization of process flows in automotive industry had been examined. MTM-UAS (Method-Time Measurement) method were taken as master sample and the related results were cross-checked in both theoretical and practical ways. The main and the most important purpose is to clarify the path in terms of performing the process design of a new project before commissioning stage, as well as enhancing any existing process steps with low efficiency, and informing the reader about the ways of applying the related method. In this study, related method was applied on performing the process design (including production line layout design) of a new product in an effective way. Results indicated that the operators working on this line will have a working capacity of 88,86% in average. Furthermore, how to determine total workstation quantity in the light of line balancing study, and design of the production line layout were explained for this specifically selected product.
