Abstract (EN)

A person struggles to have a better life standard than he or she is in his life and sets some standards for it. Once these standards are achieved, they define themselves as successful and perfectionists. The concept of perfect is known as a concept that has been explored over many years and is difficult to define. This situation, which emerges from the childhood years in the individual, usually reveals the high expectation of the children of the family members and high standards for the children in order to respond to these expectancies and to be more selective in the decisions made in the individuals in the coming years and unsatisfied with the work done. In this research, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between perceptions of perfectionism and career planning attitudes in the automotive sector. The research group was attended by 358 people working in different automotive companies in Istanbul. Demographic information form, Career Inventory (CFI) and Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (CBCM) were used as data collection tools. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis and regression analyzes were performed with the SPSS program and the results were analyzed and the results were interpreted.
