Abstract (EN)

In this study , we tried to investigate catalytic activity towards ORR and OER on silver, gold and glassy carbon electrodes by loading of spinnel type cobalt oxide nanoparticles and perovskites ( MnCoO, LSF , LSCF) in alkaline electrolyte lithium hydroxide via RRDE measurements. Polarization curves showed cobalt oxide nanopartices on silver, glassy carbon and gold electrodes have much enhanced catalytic activity towards OER and ORR. MnCoO has as same activity as cobalt oxide in case of ORR on silver, glassy carbon and gold electrodes. It has been observed that although all catalysts on silver follow four electron direct pathway, on glassy carbon and gold follow both two electron indirect and four electron direct pathway mechanism. Levich and Tafel plots was used to determine the kinetics of ORR such as electron transfer.
