Private and public hospitals perception of total quality management pratices by employee health professional: A sample from Malatya city

This thesis is a study for determining the practise principals of Total Quality Management in public and private hospitals, and it is also a guide for decreasing the deficiencies of practising these principles. The practise of this study will be done in public and private hospital. Due to the fact that public and private hospitals are very important in service sector, in what degree the health staff quality is practised, what are the things that public and private hospitals manager should do in order to increase health staff quality will be very helpful in determining what to do in this context. According to the changing quality mind, this study has revealed that public and private hospitals staff should be educated, new practises should be developed, the manager, should be open to change, and the quality should be practised as a total in public and private hospitals.486 helath personnal, who work in 7 public and private hospitals in Malatya, constitute the study field of this research.A questionnare has been used to collect information. In this questionnar, there are 6 question about personal information, and 27 questions to determine the practising principles, of Total Quality Management and to practise these principles, which have 5 option, as ?I certainly don?t agree(1), I certainly agree (2), I can?t decide (3), I agree (4), I certainly agree (5)? SPSS 17.0 package programme has been used to analyze the information provided, according to whether the percent (%), frequency and the information have shown a homogeneous distrubution or not, relevance tests have been used such has t-test,factor,reliability
