Abstract (EN)

The Covid-19 epidemic, which has become a pandemic as of 2020, has created important threats not only with the threat it poses to health, but also for the elimination of the life form that people are accustomed to. Most importantly, the Covid-19 period has also caused a change in life elements that are thought to be sustainable in people's lives. At this point, living spaces and can be considered as a specific example, point to an extremely important difference. With the pandemic, individuals have begun to adopt different ways of thinking in terms of the change in the area they are in. In terms of the transformation of the space, individuals who go beyond the space design and architecture they are accustomed to aim for a kind of change that will especially benefit them in this way. Individuals have tried to make changes in their dwellings on the axis of psychological factors, along with the change of vital thought and search for innovation that the pandemic has created. In the first, second and third parts of the study, literature research was conducted. . In the fourth part, a survey was conducted on a site located in Istanbul's Kağıthane district. The architectural floor plans of the site were redrawn and added to the study. Then, the results of the survey were evaluated with the prepared graphics. In the last part of the study, a housing proposal was presented according to the results obtained.
