Abstract (EN)
In last decades parabolic solar collectors gain more interest due to their high thermal performance and efficiency. Benefiting the strengths of these systems cause them to apply widely in different energy fields, i.e. concentrating solar power systems and industrial process heat . In these structures like many other system the main goal is to maximize the energy production, or in other words is to increasing the system efficiency. In this thesis modelling of a parabolic trough collector with direct steam generation has been studied. The results derived from the model compared with the experimental results from Sandia National Laboratory, and it found good agreement with them. The program has been tested for different working pressures and radiations. Accordingly, tosolve the system of equations obtained by thermal analysis, an object oriented based computer program usingMATLAB® is introduced and developed. The results compared with eachother and also compared with experimental results that are published before. They illustrated in tables and diagrams, in addition it has been discussed about them.
