Finger vein identification technology

Rapid advances in technology can affect the humanity both positively and negatively. Especially crimes occurred in cyber environment raise concern about information security. For this reason, many companies and institutions around the world utilize and use of biometric recognition systems and tools.According to the studies in the literature, distribution of blood vessels in the fingers is unique for each person. Therefore, Finger Vein Recognition System, which uses the image of the obtained images of finger vein to authenticate and recognize as a biometric system, is rapidly evolving day by day.The general purpose of this study is to generate a user authentication expert system to compare each input by the user with the stored finger vein images in the repository to provide secure access to a system.Keywords: Biometrics, Finger Vein, Finger Vein Recognition System
